Setting up Contract Manager with DocuSign

Note: Contract Manager is an add-on feature only available to customers on an Enterprise plan.

Setting up your DocuSign connection

To set up the integration, each tenant will need to create a DocuSign account. This happens once per tenant when attempting to create an agreement template for the first time. To do this:

1. Navigate to Database > Agreement templates
2. Click + Create in the upper right corner
   
   
    
3. Click Connect when prompted to create a DocuSign integration. This may take a few minutes.

Once connected, you will be able to start creating agreement templates from the same page.

Building agreement templates

Agreement templates are configured by account Admins, and will be available for users to complete and send from their projects. Fields within the agreement templates will automatically populate with design and proposal data upon creation. To create an agreement template:

1. Navigate to Database > Agreement templates. Then click + Create
    
2. Name your template. 
   This name will be used to identify your agreement in the list of all agreements by the sales representative. It will also be seen by the prospect once you’ve sent an agreement out to be signed.
    
3. Configure template settings
   1. Restrict visibility by state - select the states that this template will be available in. Users will only be able to see this template if the project address is located in one of the selected states. If no states are selected, the template will be available to all projects.
   2. Attachments - select which documents will be attached to the agreement by default.
      
4. Upload your agreement template.
   1. Drag and drop or select the file(s) to include.
       
5. Add recipients
   1. Add all recipients of the agreement and indicate who needs to sign, view, or receive a copy.
   2. Select Set signing order to specify in which order they need to be completed.
      
      
      
       
6. Add message
   1. Write the subject and message the recipient will receive via email when this agreement is sent
      
      
       
7. Click Next
8. Drag and drop the appropriate fields into your template
   1. Standard fields - these fields will be editable by the selected recipient and can be made a required field, such as a signature.
   2. Custom fields - these fields will auto-populate with Aurora data from the proposal when a new agreement is created
      
      
       
9. Click Save and Close to save your template

Creating user accounts

When sending an agreement for the first time, each user will need to create their own user account in the tenant DocuSign account. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.

FAQS

• Can I edit a template after it's been saved?

  • Yes! Click on the three dots next to your agreement template in the Database, then click Edit. To edit further, click Open template editor.
