What's changing?
Access to executed agreements sent through the legacy Contract Manager (powered by Dropbox Sign) will end on March 31, 2027.
After this date, you'll no longer be able to view or download these agreements through Aurora. If you need copies of your executed agreements for your records, we recommend downloading them well ahead of the deadline.
You can download your agreements manually through the Aurora UI, or — if your account has Enterprise API access — programmatically through the API. Both methods are covered below.
Downloading agreements manually
This method is available on all accounts.
- Go to the Project Index
- Filter by Updates > Agreement Signed to find projects with executed agreements
- Click into each project, go to Documents, and click Download
Because this method downloads one agreement at a time, it may take a while if you have a large volume of agreements. We recommend starting as early as possible if you have many to download.
Downloading agreements via the Enterprise API
Note: Enterprise API access is not available on all accounts. If your account is on the self-serve credit model, use the manual download method above instead.
If your account has Enterprise API access, you can retrieve executed agreements programmatically:
- Call the list agreements endpoint
- Filter the results to agreements where the signing provider is dropbox_sign
- For each match, call retrieve agreement download link to get a link to the signed agreement
FAQs
Do I need to do anything if I'm already using the new Contract Manager powered by DocuSign? No action is needed for agreements sent through DocuSign — this only affects agreements sent through the legacy, Dropbox Sign-powered experience.
What happens to my agreement templates? Nothing — this only affects executed (signed) agreements. Your legacy templates were already migrated to DocuSign drafts and don't require any action.
