Aurora’s integration with UtilityAPI allows customers to seamlessly pull homeowners’ consumption data into their Aurora projects in 15, 30, or 60 minute intervals.
To enable the UtilityAPI integration, admin users must navigate to Settings > Apps. Then click on Connect under the UtilityAPI integration option.
You will then be prompted to connect your UtilityAPI account by entering a UtilityAPI API token and clicking Submit. UtilityAPI recommends creating a new API token for the Aurora Solar integration at the admin user level. This will enable users to disable the integration without impacting other workflows and ensure all customer data is available. To retrieve your API token from UtilityAPI, follow these steps from UtilityAPI.
Once you’ve connected your UtilityAPI account to your Aurora tenant, all users in your tenant will be able to see UtilityAPI as an option on Energy Usage Input method, in both the Project Dashboard and Sales Mode.
