You can now configure your Sungage account and connect it directly with your Aurora account within Sales Mode. Once the integration has been configured in Aurora, all of your Sungage loan products will appear in Sales Mode as Financing options. With this integration you can:
- Conduct a soft credit check on behalf of the homeowner and apply for a loan from within Aurora’s Sales Mode;
- Show the homeowner Sungage loan products in approved language;
- Say goodbye to manual data entry into the Sungage Portal, and the need to manually manage your Sungage products in Aurora

Process Overview
- Step 1: Submit a credit application within Aurora’s Sales Mode for your homeowner. Note this will result in a soft credit pull only
- Step 2: When the homeowner is approved for credit, the loan documents will be sent via email to the homeowner
- Step 3: When the homeowner opens the email, they will click a link to navigate to the loan documents, and are able to apply for a loan within Sungage
Who Is Eligible to Use the Aurora Sungage Integration
In order to use the Sungage integration, please note that you must be using Aurora Sales Mode. This integration is also only available to customers in the US doing residential sales.
Each Aurora user will need a corresponding Sungage login with matching email address. Contact your Sungage representative for more details.
How to Become a Sungage Partner
You'll need to be a current Sungage Financial partner to set up your integration. If you’re not a Sungage Financial partner, click here to get started.
How to Configure Your Account
The following steps need to be taken only once to configure the Sungage integration and must be performed by an Aurora account admin:
- Submit this form to request your integration configuration key. Sungage Financial will contact you with your configuration key within 1-2 business days

Log into Aurora and navigate to Integrations under the Settings tab
- *Please note that your Aurora login email must match with your Sungage login email
- Click “Connect” under the Sungage Financial Integration box
- Now enter the configuration key sent to you by Sungage Financial and click “Connect” again
- If successful, you’ll now see a green check-mark and “Connected” for the Sungage integration
Setting Up Advanced Configurations
Aurora offers the following advanced configuration settings:
- Include Dealer Fees
Dealer Fees: A dealer fee is a percentage % of the system cost that is added on top of that cost to become the total financed amount. A dealer fee will always be recouped by Sungage. By clicking the toggle below you can choose to include the dealer fee in the loan amount that is sent to Sungage.
How to Submit a Credit Application
*Please note that once you’ve enabled the Sungage integration, you’ll be able to use this integration on previously created projects as well as new projects moving forward.
To get started navigate to “Financing” in Sales Mode.
Next, make sure to select any adders, discounts, or incentives you’d like to add to the project. Then select your preferred Sungage loan from the drop down menu on the right side of the screen.
Make any adjustments to the financing proposal if needed or click “Apply now” to move forward. You’ll next see the screen below:
Note that In order to submit a credit application, you’ll need the following information from the homeowner:
- First name and last name*
- Email address
- Social Security Information
- Income Level
- Birth Date
- Phone number (including area code)
- Address
- CPW
- Consumption information
- A completed site and system design
*Note that the name and information need to match the name on the Homeowner Installation Agreement. If the names do not match, Sungage will not countersign the loan.
Once all steps of the credit application have been completed, click “Submit” to submit the credit application. You will then see the screen below which indicates the credit application is being processed.
If the customer qualifies and is approved, you will see the screen shown below in Aurora.
The homeowner will also receive an email in their inbox, shown below.
How to Fill Out the Loan Documents
Finally, to fill out the loan documents the homeowner will click on the link they were sent to first verify their email address, leading them to the Sungage portal. From here they can review the loan terms in detail and sign the loan application if they choose to proceed.
