Overview
Aurora Solar’s financing integration with Dividend enables you to connect your Dividend and Aurora accounts to access Dividend loan products in Aurora’s Sales Mode. Note: only current Dividend partners can activate this integration in Aurora; to become a partner, click here.
Once the integration has been configured in Aurora, all your Dividend loan products will appear in Sales Mode as Financing options. With this integration you can:
- Conduct a soft credit check on behalf of the homeowner and pre-apply for a loan from within Aurora’s Sales Mode;
- Show the homeowner Dividend loan products using approved language;
- Avoid errors from manual data entry in both your Dividend portal and Aurora
How to Submit a Credit Application:
*Please note that once you’ve enabled the Dividend integration, you’ll be able to use this integration on previously created projects as well as new projects moving forward.
To get started, navigate to “Financing” in Sales Mode.
Next, make sure to select any adders, discounts, or incentives you’d like to add to the project. Then select your preferred Dividend loan from the drop down menu on the left side of the screen.
Make any adjustments to the financing proposal if needed or click “Apply now” to move forward. You’ll next see the screen below:
In order to submit a credit application, you’ll need the following information from the homeowner:
- First name and last name*
- Phone and Email
- Address
- Financing elections
- System size
- Any down payment information
- Social Security Information
- Income Level
- Mortgage Information
*Note that the name and information need to match the name on the Homeowner Installation Agreement. If the names do not match, Dividend will not countersign the loan.
Once all steps of the credit application have been completed, click “Submit” to submit the credit application. You will then see the screen below, which indicates the credit application is being processed.
If the customer qualifies and is approved, they will receive the email shown below.
The homeowner will also receive an email with links to next steps, shown below.
How to Fill Out the Loan Documents:
Finally, to fill out the loan documents, the homeowner will click on the link they were sent to first verify their email address, leading them to the Dividend portal. From here they can review the loan terms in detail and sign the loan application if they choose to proceed.
