What it is
Expedited Stamping is Aurora's faster engineering stamp service for Instant Plan Sets. You go from a generated plan set to a stamped, permit-ready plan set without leaving Aurora, so you can schedule installs with fewer days of waiting.
How it works in Aurora
Expedited Stamping is on for Instant Plan Sets accounts that have engineering stamps. There's nothing to turn on or set up.
- Requesting a stamp: Request a stamp the same way you do today, from the project dashboard. For steps, see Instant Plan Sets.
- Turnaround: Stamps come back in as fast as 15 minutes. Most requests are complete within 3 business hours, and more complex projects can take up to 24 hours.
- Delivery: When your request is complete, download the stamped plan set from the Engineering Stamp card on the project dashboard.
- Rejections: If the stamping engineer rejects your request, you get an email with the reason. Edit your Instant Plan Set, then submit a new stamp request.
Key considerations
- The 3-hour estimate for most requests counts business hours only.
- Review your plan set for accuracy and make any revisions before you request a stamp.
- Expedited Stamping is available for Instant Plan Sets only. Plan Set Service orders use standard stamping. For details, see Stamps in Plan Sets.
- Wet stamps aren't available.
