Admins can create and manage multiple proposal templates for their reps to use in Sales Mode. From the Proposal templates page within the Database, admins can edit, create, and enable multiple template options for their users.
Enabling Templates for Sales Reps
From the Proposal templates page, admins can enable multiple templates for their organization, allowing sales reps to choose the right template based on their customers’ needs and preferences. Simply click the toggle on the left-hand side of each template to enable or disable it from being accessible to your sales reps.
Managing Templates
The ellipses on the right-hand side of each template listed provides three options for admins:
- Set as Default: This makes that template the primary option when sales reps create a proposal. Default templates will be tagged as ‘Default’ and will be positioned at the top of the template list.
- Duplicate: This will create an editable copy of that template
-
Delete: This will permanently remove the template from your list.
- Note: Standard templates cannot be deleted, only disabled.
Creating New Templates
Admins can create new templates from the Proposal templates page in the database. Admins can choose to duplicate and edit one of Aurora’s Standard templates, or they can build custom proposals from scratch.
To make changes to one of the standard templates, admins will have to duplicate it and apply changes to the new custom template:
- To do this, click the Duplicate button within the ellipses (...) to the right
- Give the new template a name
- From there, admins can directly edit the standard template using the proposal editor
In addition to the standard off-the-shelf templates, Aurora allows admins to build custom proposals from scratch. Admins can insert premade sections and create new sections with the proposal editor.
- Click ‘Add Proposal Template’
- Give the template a name
- From there, admins can create and edit a new template using the proposal editor
To learn more about creating custom proposal templates using the proposal editor, see Creating Custom Sections.
