Use Notes in Sales Mode to capture important project details and share context with your team – all in one place. Notes and attachments are automatically saved and are accessible to anyone with access to the project.
With Notes you can:
- Document site details, customer preferences, design considerations, and more
- Upload and manage supporting files (photos, documents, videos, etc.)
- Collaborate and share context with teammates
Adding a note in Sales Mode
- Open your project in Sales Mode
- Click the Notes icon in the top navigation bar
- Start typing in the Notes section
Your notes auto-save as you type, so there’s no need to manually save changes.
Uploading attachments
You can add files alongside your notes for easy reference.
To upload an attachment:
- Drag and drop into the Attachments section, or
- Click Browse files to select a file from your device
Once uploaded, each attachment displays:
- File name
- File size
- Date and time added
To remove an attachment, click on the trash can icon next to the file.
Accessing Notes from Project Overview
Notes and attachments aren’t limited to Sales Mode. You can also view and edit them from the Project Overview page, making it easier for other team members to stay aligned and contribute.
FAQs
Can multiple users collaborate on a note?
Yes. Editing or adding to the Notes will update for all users with access to the project, though simultaneous edits may overwrite each other.
Are notes saved if I leave Sales Mode or refresh the page?
Yes. Notes auto-save continuously, so no changes are lost when navigating away.
Are notes included when a project is duplicated?
Notes and attachments are not copied when duplicating a project.
Are notes and attachments shared across all designs within a project?
Yes. Notes and attachments are saved at the project level, not the design level. If a project contains multiple designs, the same notes and attachments will appear across all designs within that project.
