API
Design deleted webhook | You can now subscribe to the design_deleted webhook event. The webhook payload can include <PROJECT_ID> and <DESIGN_ID>. This webhook event will fire when a design is deleted in the Aurora app, enabling your IT ecosystem (e.g., CRM) to stay in sync with design data in Aurora. |
Design
Display Inspector for Multi-Object Design | Users can now access the panel inspector when selecting multiple system design objects, making it easier than ever to design systems in Design Mode. This new feature allows users to work in the inspector when multiple system objects are selected, which is especially helpful when working on crowded designs with fire pathways. |
Inverter Efficiency and DC:AC Ratio to PVWatts | Inverter efficiency and DC:AC ratios will now be included in and provide more accurate simulations for PVWatts. |
Panels Now Snap to Default Spacing | Solar Panels in Design Mode will now snap in place based on default row and column spacing, as well as adapt to any changes made to default settings for that design and user. |
Database/Settings
Advanced Roles UI Enhancements | An updated UI to the Roles page under Settings will make the process of creating Advanced Roles easier for admins in the Aurora app. |
Inverters & DC Optimizers by Partner | In addition to logos, base PPW, adders & discounts, and modules, tenants using Partner Management can now assign Inverters & DC Optimizers to specific Partner(s) via the Database |
AHJ Database Improvements - Navigation | This most recent improvement to Aurora’s AHJ Database focuses on usability, providing users with better searching, filtering, and navigation. |
User-level PPW Range | In-app or via API, Admins can now set an allowable base price-per-watt (PPW) range, or just a maximum or minimum threshold, for Sales Mode users to help ensure reps adhere to pricing policies and protect margins on projects that get sold. When a design's base PPW is changed in a way that conflicts with the PPW rule for the project's assigned user, a warning will appear for that user and anyone with access to the project. |
Lead Capture AI
Custom Flat Rates in Lead Templates | Admins can set a single flat rate within a Leads template, which is used for calculating the customer’s energy usage (kWh) based on their spend and for estimating the the potential savings for a design. |
Plan Sets
Automated Emails for Incomplete Plan Set Requests | Coinciding with the existing in-app alert, a customer will now receive an automated email when it has been identified that a plan set request requires more information. |
Sales Mode
Background Images & Font Colors in Custom Pages | Admins are able to add, edit, and delete background images or colors to any text widget, cell or section. This gives customers more control to create a differentiated proposal template that’s unique to their brand. |
Solar Models in Custom Sections |
Admins can add one or more CAD viewports to a custom section in Sales Mode. |
Utility Rates
Interval Data Estimations | If less than a full year of interval data is available, Aurora will estimate the energy consumption for the rest of the year. |
Custom Utilities & Utility Rates | Admins can create and manage custom utilities and utility rates in their Database. |
View Utility Rate Details (Project-Level) | Users can view utility rates, rate details, and export settings within each project. |
